Are your products children friendly?
Yes. We stay away from parabenes and harmful ingredients. We use gentle ingredients that we tested on ourselves.

Do you test on animals?

No. We are happy to say we test on ourselves. We’re the main lab-rats.  Occasionally we call on family and friends…

Do you use parabenes in your products?

We don’t. Here is why:
If you apply something topically (to your skin), your body absorbs it into the bloodstream.  Parabenes may partially, or completely, alter the natural state of your body; there have been studies that link parabenes to serious health concerns.  We have decided not to take any chances and have taken a precautionary highway that doesn’t lead to using products that have already shown traces of harming your body.   So our focus is on formulations that contain natural ingredients that will nourish your hair, and skin, with the added benefits of minerals and vitamins.

Plus, we like to test the product on ourselves so we don’t want to harm ourselves either.

All Credit Card and PayPal Payments are processed through Paypal to ensure privacy and security.

My payment is not going through! What could the problem be?

When you are checking out, make sure that your personal information is in synch with the original details of your credit card (name, address e.t.c). This is important since the information has to match or else the transaction won’t go through.  You can always call your credit card to make sure you are using the right info that they have on file.  But this problem can be overcome by going through Paypal since Paypal would already have verified your information and card details.  If the problem persists, please e-mail us at shop@jirano.com with the product (name) that you want to order and your address so that we can e-mail you a custom invoice for your order.  

 On Shipping

How long does shipping usually take?
Order processing is within 24-48 hours.  We don’t process and ship on the same day. This delay is due to us waiting for payments to clear and also just in case you realize you gave us a wrong address you will be able to contact us to fix it.  We generally process orders in 1-2 business days. For example, an order placed on Tuesday will be shipped Wednesday or Thursday.

How much does shipping cost?
The shipping costs will be automatically calculated and displayed before you submit your payment.  You just add the item to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.  It is here at the checkout page that you will be shown the different shipping options and their prices.  After we receive your payment and therefore process the order, your order will be shipped to you.

Do you ship to my international location?

We are currently only shipping to the Canada & USA but will be opening up more international channels very soon.


On Returns and Exchanges

Do You Have a Return Policy or Exchange Policy?
Yes.  We are happy when you’re happy so we’re pleased to offer a Satisfaction Guaranteed Return Policy of 30 days.  Our products have remarkably low return rates and we are proud of the high quality of ingredients that we offer. With that said, we understand that there may be a case in which you need to return or exchange your order and we are more than happy to accommodate returns and exchanges. 
Keep in mind that shipping and delivery charges are non- refundable.  If you were offered “Free Shipping” our cost to ship, and package, the product will be deducted from the refund. 

How Do I Make a Return?
Please remember that you must first contact us via EMAIL within our 30-day return timeline.  We are then able to give you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). A copy of your invoice must accompany all returns.  With the RMA, we will give you the return address that you will use to ship the item back to our warehouse. 

Do I have to pay for the shipping of my return?
You are responsible for all return shipping costs and we highly recommend that you send your return with a tracking number as we won’t be responsible for lost returns.
Also, please indicate on package “RETURN, NO DUTIES” or your package will be returned back to you.

What is the return period?

There are 30 days of the return period; once we receive your return, we will provide the full refund.  Shipping charges not included in the refunds.

Can I do a return without contacting you or getting an RMA?

No. It is important that you contact us first before you send anything back since the address for the return may be different from the one we shipped our products from.  The RMA is also a way to keep a track of the returned products this in turn speeds up the refund process.  Please bear in mind that refunds for merchandise returned without contacting us may be denied at our warehouse facilities.
